I was discussing the unknown elements of my daughter's future today with my dear friend Tiffany. Her response was a beautiful reminder that I'm not alone in raising Lydia...that there are so many others who have her best interests at heart. She has family, of course, but also so many others who have fallen for her.

"God is going to show her through all the people in her life that love her that she is valuable and loved and is His perfect child and that He has a plan for her. She's going to go to college or have a career and she's going to fall in love and out of love and in love again, and she'll get married and have kids, and die at a very old age long after you are gone. But for now, what we do, is love her. That's the most powerful thing."

Well said Tiffany.
