When Lydia was a baby I was in love with her bouncy seat. If I could have, I would have married the bouncy seat and had its babies. I was THAT in love. It was the only reason I could take the time to bathe if there wasn’t someone else to watch Lydia. As a new mom, a bath is one of life’s great luxuries. I would face the seat towards the tub so I could relax in the water but still talk to her and keep her somewhat entertained. Emerging 20 minutes later with a body free of spit-up, dried breast milk, and baby poop made me feel almost human. The picture below is the Oeuf baby lounger which can be purchased here.
