I remember my dad's encouraging words about me when I was young. He'd tell me I was smart, or a good singer, or beautiful and I believed him. I wish everyone had a dad that built up their self-esteem when they were young. When you're a little girl you don't question what your dad tells you...you just believe it. Even though I had a poor self image at one point in life, I think it could've been a lot worse without his encouragement when I was young.
Dad's don't always realize how powerful their words and actions are in a girl's life.
