Saying Goodbye Part II

My grandma left the earth at 3:15 this morning. One of my last memories of time spent with grandma was at the English Rose Tea Room here in Chattanooga. My mom semi-insisted that we all go there for my birthday on Christmas Eve. To be honest I didn’t want to go…at all. Not that I didn’t want to be with them; I just thought there were more exciting things for us all to do. Now I’m happy that she suggested it and was persistent, because it was such a pretty place to have a last memory. There’s a picture of us having tea in the entry below this one. Grandma asked everyone there to say one thing that they liked about me. It was awkward since our family isn’t the mushy type, and it doesn’t matter what anyone said or didn’t say. It mattered that my grandma thought there were at least 5 things worth mentioning. Now I see why it was God’s plan for us to have our little tea party and how He used mom to get us there.
