Despite her promise a few months ago that she would never let anyone teach her to ride a bike, Phoebe got on one yesterday and took off as though she had ridden all her life. I'm still a bit puzzled by this. It's not that I don't think she's talented, I just figured that everybody had to take a prerequisite ride into a bush or mailbox before they could become good at biking.
