Our Sweet Ride?

So my husband bought an adorable car similar to this one a few months ago when he lost his company vehicle, and while we were still waving our happy goodbyes to it's previous owner, the engine blew up. This was in Ashville, so after having it towed to Chattanooga, we found it will require hundreds or even thousands to repair. I used to despise this car for the money pit that it will eventually be, but lately I'm coming to see it as more cute and unique. What do you think? This is a Volkswagen Notchback.
