Love the vintage hat Lydia got at Goodwill this week.
I think it's ironic that Lydia won "best dressed" at school last year. She's at an age where all the kids want to shop at the same name brand stores. Everyone looks like a walking Hollister ad, especially at her school where most parents can afford that stuff. Lydia does have a few things from the mall stores, but much of what she owns is from thrift stores. It makes me wonder why, if kids like her style, they don't break out and dress according to their personalities, but I guess that's just what it's like in 8th grade.

First of all, love the hat. I wish I could come shopping with you girls, you always find the cutest things. I always go to Goodwill hoping to find something fun but never do. I don't think I have the "eye" for it.

Also, I promise I didn't disable you from commenting on my blog lol. I don't know why it's doing that to you :)

Lydia HAS style! She's not afraid to be herself and I like that. That is because you have given her love and security in who she is.
